This page covers the Seedplot early-access signup. It is the only thing this site collects.

What we collect

Your email address and the time you signed up. Which of the two forms on this site you used. If you answered the optional question about who you make videos for, we store that answer, which is one of three choices: your own brand, client brands, or both. We also store a record of what you were shown when you signed up, and two random identifiers that let us match the unsubscribe link and the optional question back to your row.

We do not store your name, your phone number, your IP address, or anything about the people you work for beyond that one three-way answer.

One thing we do use but never keep: our server reads the network address your request arrives from, so it can spot a machine submitting the form thousands of times. It is held in memory for a few minutes for that check and is never written to the database.

Why

To email you about Seedplot early access, and nothing else. We do not send other people’s marketing and we do not sell advertising.

The two forms on this site are not identical. The one at the bottom of the page carries a line saying what you are agreeing to. The one at the top does not, so for those signups the confirmation email is the record: it says who we are, what the list is, and how to leave it. We store which of those two applied to you, so there is an honest record of what you actually saw.

Who holds it

We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own use. It is held by the companies that run Seedplot for us, and only for that: Supabase stores it, Render runs the software that receives it, Resend delivers the email, and Sentry receives an error report if something breaks, which we have configured not to include your address. All of them operate in the United States, so your address is stored and processed outside Canada.

Leaving the list, and being deleted

These are two different things and you can ask for either.

Unsubscribing stops the email. Every message we send carries a link that does it in one click, with no login and no reply needed. We keep your row and mark it unsubscribed, deliberately: that record is what stops you being emailed again by mistake.

Deletion removes the row entirely, address included. Email hello@seedplot.app and ask, and we will delete it and tell you when it is done. You do not have to give a reason.
